every-monster-revealed-in-dragons-dogma-2-so-far

In the Dragon’s Dogma 2 trailer, a monster collection is shown along with the dragons.

Since its release on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2012, Dragon’s Dogma by Capcom has become a cult RPG classic. It takes place in Gransys, a dark fantasy world full of adventure, monsters, and a unique magic system. With its large setting and story, the first game felt both deep in lore and full of history. Gamers have been waiting for a remake for just over a decade, and with PlayStation’s latest release, they finally got what they wanted.

With all the open-world greatness fans expect in Dragon’s Dogma, there is more for the Capcom franchise to offer after so many years. Combat is one of the best parts of the first game, and fans hope that the second game will improve and add to the combat system and the monsters. The trailer told a lot of important information in less than two minutes. It showed many of the creatures that players can meet, which we’ll talk more about in the entries that follow.

Dragon

Dragon

The game’s main character, which is also its name, acts as a kind of signpost, showing both its fantasy roots and Capcom’s plan to make dragons a big part of the world of Gransys. They chose a very traditional Dragon design with red scales, scary eyes, and the ability to breathe fire.

The video shows this monster causing trouble by spreading its big wings and lighting the ground on fire. Dragons will be enemies and recurring themes throughout the game. They will eat the hearts of the brave to bring back Arisen.

Goblin

Goblin

There will probably be a lot of these small enemies. The villains that act like a crowd are common in fantasy. In Dragon’s Dogma 2, they seem to be plenty of meat sponges that absorb sword strikes from knights, become pincushions for shooters, and take the full force of meteors from magic-using battle mages.

Goblins in the video use clubs and shields. Like in the first game, they may have a certain order to their society, with chieftains and kings showing up as the story goes on and players gain levels and have to fight more difficult enemies.

Cyclops

Cyclops

These hearty enemies are found wandering the map and holding giant clubs while staring down players with their single eye, hell-bent on destruction. They are big and strong, and they hit hard. To beat these tough humanoids, it might help to work with other figures.

As their Greek roots show, Cyclops are very strong animals, and the video shows that they can even destroy the environment. They can easily stomp their feet and knock players off wooden bridges.

Minotaur

Minotaur

Even though they are big and slow, these huge, charging beasts hit hard and move quickly for their size. In the trailer, they wear clothes that look like they came from ancient Greece. But now, instead of going through labyrinths, they can go through rocky outcroppings and attack tourists who don’t see them coming. In order to catch their prey, they can charge up their power and jump long distances.

Minotaurs can wield huge weapons and may prove more difficult to beat, thanks to their ability to cover great distances with short bursts of power. It might be better for mages and other long-range attacks to take on this enemy. As shown in the video, magic can quickly kill the creature, but Snake Game players must be careful about where they stand when fighting.

Griffin

Griffin

This scary creature has the head, wings, and claws of an eagle and the body of a lion. They fly around and are hard to catch unless players are good at using magic or shooting arrows, or if they hitch a ride and take it down in the sky.

Griffins are smart, flying animals with a royal name and nature. They show up a lot in the video, either as enemies, as ways to get around, or as the main focus of a few of the cutscenes shown during the showcase.

Sphinx

Sphinx

The trailer doesn’t reveal the monster’s identity, even though it uses mythology. It seems sphinx-inspired. Sphinxes are imposing legendary animals with lion haunches, eagle wings, and human faces (a lovely woman).

In the trailer, the player figure talks to the sphinx in question. This could mean that there are a series of questions or riddles that the player has to figure out, whether they are part of the main quest or a side quest. But this is equally exciting because, with the exception of the dragon, creatures can be more than just enemies to kill.

Gorgon

Gorgon

This woman is cursed with hair made of snakes, and if she looks at you, you’ll turn to stone. The Gorgon is one of the most well-known monsters that can turn into stone. It shares this title with the basilisk. She is not bad in and of herself, but she is cursed because she is said to be a wanderer, even though in Medusa’s story, it was the man who went astray.

Gorgons are known for their ability to make their enemies freeze, which could make them hard to deal with. But the moments where the gorgon shows up make it seem like they are more than just a character to fight. k – The… – O… Or is it just a tough problem to solve?

Ogre

Ogre

This huge creature that looks like a human is only an enemy that players can jump on and fight (it’s best to aim for the face). They are smaller than Cyclops but still bigger than a person. They are smarter than humans, which doesn’t make sense given their size.

This monster is strong, and it also has some brains. Be careful of climbing them for too long, as they have a tendency to shake off any stowaways.

Golems

Golems

Golems were once servants to Rabbi and guardians of Jewish religious leaders. They were made of clay and shaped by people. Golems in the world of Dragon’s Dogma are still made of rocks and magic, but behind their rock shells is a magic power that can blast players away.

The trailer shows an Elven archer dodging their powerful attacks and covering their teammates from far away as they try to get closer to the creature and hurt it. The creatures can pack a magic punch because they can shoot a beam of magic from their faces.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 will come out between 2022 and 2024.
